Tech-Driven Non-Powered Sewage Treatment Revolutionizes Rural Sanitation: China’s Green Ecological Toilets Emerge as Sustainable Solution

    From May 9th to 10th, the 2025 National Water Science and Technology Conference and Technical Equipment Achievement Exhibition with the theme of "Building a New Journey for Innovative Development of Water Industry Together" was held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Zhai Qing, Deputy Director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Wang Xiufeng, Chairman of the China Environmental Protection Federation, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

    At the seminar on the "15th Five Year Plan" for rural domestic sewage treatment (closed door meeting), Deng Xu, Chairman of Denggao Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the Green Science Popularization Volunteer Service Association, gave a keynote speech on From "'Government Transfusion' to 'Self- Sustaining': How Non-Powered Sewage Treatment Ends the 'Idle' Problem of Rural Environmental Protection Facilities".

    At the exhibition, Denggao Environmental Protection Company set up booths and display boards showcased samples conducted on-site product demonstrations engaged in technical exchanges and business discussions with customers.

    At the launch meeting of the group standard project for rural domestic sewage treatment, as a specially invited participating unit, Chairman Deng Xu had a technical exchange with experts and scholars and took a group photo as a souvenir.

    This conference is jointly organized by the China Environmental Protection Federation, Fuzhou University, and Fuzhou Water Group Co., Ltd. Six academicians, over 100 experts, and more than 800 professional representatives from the field of water science and technology from across the country attended the conference.
