In March, the team at Denggao Environmental embarked on a mission-driven expedition to Northwest China. Traveling from the riverbanks of the Yangtze to the shores of the Yellow River, our team spent a week measuring responsibility with our footsteps and engaging in professional dialogue with the ecosystem. We immersed ourselves in the local culture—not only delivering a "green answer sheet" by securing multiple wastewater treatment projects but also savoring the unique cultural charm of the region. This "work + culture" synergy was more than just business expansion; it was a profound dialogue between ecology and humanity.
In Longnan, Qilihe, Minxian, and other locations across Gansu, we conducted in-depth research into the local aquatic ecosystems. Addressing regional water distribution patterns and specific governance challenges, we proposed a solution centered on "localized strategies and smart water management."
Tailored to the realities of alpine regions, Denggao introduced a rural sewage solution characterized by "categorized policies and precise treatment." Alpine areas present complex terrains and frigid climates, often featuring seasonal or permanent permafrost with depths ranging from 0.5 to 2 meters. Compounding these issues are severe water scarcity, the prevalence of dry toilets, and difficulties in winter discharge. To tackle these challenges, we relied on our proprietary non-powered treatment process. We provided a full suite of customized solutions, including high-strength equipment models designed for burial up to 3 meters deep to adapt to variable geological conditions. Through three core technologies—"decentralized fractional collection, enhanced biodegradation with bio-bacterial strains, and safe resource utilization"—the system achieves full self-purification without electricity or chemical additives. The process is odorless, prevents mosquito breeding, and is particularly suited to the dispersed populations and complex terrain of alpine villages.
We offer various treatment modes, including single-household decentralized systems, multi-household modular units, and integrated solutions. These not only completely solve the environmental and safety hazards of untreated winter sewage discharge but also ensure the proper treatment of wastewater from renovated dry toilets, genuinely benefiting farmers and enhancing convenience.
Our domestic sewage treatment system is defined by its non-powered operation, zero need for desludging or maintenance, harmlessness, resource efficiency, and low cost. It ensures that governance solutions are practical, easy to implement, and sustainable, truly meeting the standard of being "invisible, inaudible, and odorless".
Beyond work, the team explored the city's streets and alleys, experiencing the unique charm of Gansu, known as the "Jiangnan of the North."
From Rugao to Gansu, we are connected by water and united by our commitment to green development. This trip to Gansu marks a vivid practice of Denggao's "going out" strategy and another milestone in our mission to build a "Beautiful China." Looking ahead, we will continue to use technology as our pen and ecology as our paper, writing more stories of "clear waters, green banks, and benefits for the people."
